Happy New Year to everyone from Keswick Island Progress Association (KIPA - www.kipa.com.au ).
On 1st January, a working group of residents discussed how best to move forward and we unanimously decided that the next most effective move would be to get legal counsel regarding the lease agreements. However, this could be a costly process. Everyone around the table was willing to pay into a fund but we are reaching out to anyone else who wishes to contribute to the worthy cause of reclaiming Keswick Island for all Australians - every little bit helps.
There is a Go Fund Me page set up and the funds will be deposited into the Keswick Island Progress Association's account (Treasurer is Karen Cooke, so don't be alarmed to see her name against the account). Please don't be shy - there have been some substantial donations, but we appreciate even the smallest amounts. Little-by-little, we can make a difference, especially with the incredible number of people interested in Keswick Island. Please support our cause - even $1 can help.
